Think Your Kids Will Be Bored At Epcot? Think Again.

San Angel Inn Restaurante

Just the other day, I saw a post from a first-time visitor asking, “My kids are young—won’t they be bored at EPCOT? Should we just skip it?”

I’ll admit that I had a similar thought when I first started planning our park strategy with my own kids. When I thought of EPCOT, all I remembered from visiting as a child was the giant volcano inside Mexico. After spending three full park days there over the course of two years with my family, I can confidently say there is so much to see and do in each country—and we’ve barely scratched the surface ourselves!

Here are just some of the kid-friendly experiences you can find around World Showcase:

If your kids need a mission while walking around World Showcase, be sure to check out the free Kidcot Fun Stops. Kids can collect activity cards from each country and chat with Cast Members from around the world while they explore.

Outside the world showcase, there are lots of other fun things to explore including:

  • Walk through Moana’s Journey of Water
  • Turtle Talk with Crush (and visit the aquarium)
  • The Seas with Nemo & Friends
  • Journey Into Imagination with Figment

And that’s not even including the festivals, scavenger hunts, character meals, and all the incredible food throughout the park. If you’re visiting with kids, don’t make the mistake of assuming EPCOT is just for adults—there’s plenty of magic here for the whole family.
