Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is another park that seems pretty controversial. Some people say to skip it or it’s a half-day park at most. We’ve spent a full day there on each of our last two trips and will definitely plan to visit again next year.
There are fewer rides and shows to be sure, but a lot more to explore in terms of animals and self-paced exploration. You can even get Wilderness badges or do your own scavenger hunt with the Tree of Life.
This is also a park that offers unique snacks and drinks that I’m sure to grab each time we go. With new developments coming soon, this isn’t a park I would skip.
Ride Videos & Planning Guide
Below you’ll find first-person POV ride videos organized by land/area for this park. These are included to help you get a better sense of each attraction so you can decide what feels right for you and your family before purchasing Lightning Lane passes or waiting in standby lines.
Keep in mind that some attractions are dark, fast, or highly immersive, so videos may not fully reflect the real experience. However, they can still be helpful for understanding ride intensity, movement, and overall vibe.
You’ll also notice that full show recordings are not included. Some experiences are best enjoyed for the first time in person. However, I’ve included show run times and noted when each one is a good opportunity for a break in the air conditioning.
